breaking strongholds

I was in San Diego this past weekend and Yale was kind enough to set up a prayer team at his church, New Hope, in last Saturday. They do a thing called "original design" where they pray and let God speak to them about God's design for me. It was a really powerful time as I felt affirmed about what I'm doing right now and what I was meant to be. Afterwards, they address the strongholds that are hindering me from walking in the fullness of what God calls me to. I felt like I was able to address some issues that I had swept under the rug in the past several years. God is good. We cried, smiled, and laughed together.

I'm prepping to enter a season of fasting leading up to the upcoming elections and the Call in California. For those who don't know, Yale and I are mobilizing for the Call in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, The Valley, and San Jose. God has completely catapulted me into a new realm of ministry and it's been very exciting. I should have started this blog a few weeks ago to have documented all the things God has been doing in my life.

The more active I am in doing ministry, the more i feel the attacks of the enemy. I need prayer to stay focused and to take hold of my thought life. It's so easy to relax and to grow apathetic. Please pray I'd continue to die to myself and that I would grow in my capacity to love God with my heart, mind, soul, and strength.

On top of all of this, I feel overwhelmed at times at my church, Living Way. I feel called to build the house of prayer and the altar of worship at Living Way, but the task is just so daunting.

Here's what I'm praying for at Living Way.
- That God would awaken Love in the heart of the church.
- That we would have hearts of stone turn to hearts of flesh.
- That the religious spirit would die and a spirit of romance and relationship would take its place.
- That the power of materialism would be broken.
- That we would choose the tree of life instead of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. No more judgement!!!

Anyway, I'm new at this blogging thing...i'll get better at it as i keep writing. Thank you for reading and praying. I need your prayers.
